Led Zeppelin. Incredible!!

Published by mnemonic at 8:36 am under My stories Edit This

ere, the first time we saw them. It was a concert WHO
with a new band called the opening of the exhibition
Led Zeppelin.

In the show was on May 25, 1969.
WHO feet-Assoc. Townshend smashed his guitar work. My buddy
Tom Beech (who, as I went to Woodstock from 3 months) grabbed
a piece of the guitar.
Now you have to remember that Zeppelins first album was released about 4 months earlier,
on January 12, 1969. We are new, they have - that means that we have Yardbird fans, and knew who was Jimmy Page. In addition, by that time there had been “adding” about them. This was before MTV, and there was no place to get information about rock bands, with the exception of Rolling Stone magazine. The only radio station that played the “underground music” as Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Iron Butterfly, Cream, doors, etc. WASH was a small FM station in Washington, DC. On Friday and Saturday nights from 9 pm to 12 midnight they would play this music underground. Here it is, within 3 hours each night. All other radio stations were “TOP 40″. It may have been Cerphe (Cerphe known DJ Washington), which is a DJ.

LED ZEPPELIN
They were incredible!
